Milo has his first vet appt Monday it's not his first vet appt, it's his first appt with my NEW vet... Gigi's vet has retired, so this is a new clinic for Milo. They will be doing curbside (not at all happy about that... I would think with a new patient they would let you MEET the vet), I just want to make sure I ask all the things and get everything covered! spam me with all the things I need to remember! |
I just went through this curbside vet business, it sucks. What I did was made a list of all my questions. My dog had an injury, I gave a detailed description how he was improving. What you do is make a list of all questions you want to ask. When they come to collect Milo give your list to the person that takes him. All vets work differently, with my vet a tech bought my dog back and answered all my questions and told me how my dog was coming along. Some vets will call you on your cell phone while they have Milo or may call you later in the day. Every vet works differently, you should call and ask what their protocol is. Any concerns about Milo write it in that list. |
I hate the curb side. The Vet should call you on the cell phone to talk to you after looking at your pup or at some places the vet has actually come out to the parking lot it just depends. The vet should talk to you before doing anything other then an exam on your pup otherwise they are breaking the law by doing something without permission. I hope everything goes well. |
