Aggressively affectionate??? Does anyone else have a little lovebug who is "in your face" affectionate? Gus will jump onto our laps, climb up our chest and stand on his hind legs in order to kiss us on the face several times a day (especially if we are on our computers or attempting to read a book). If we turn our head to the side, he will put his front paws on each cheek and turn our face to the front so that he can look us in the eyes and continue his mission of kissing us! Luckily he does not "demand" affection from others, but he will certainly kiss anyone in the family and snuggle with them if they desire. He is five pounds of sweetness for sure, lol! |
Isn't that cute! He's demanding his 'me' time from his peeps, typical of toy dogs used to getting their way - which, of course, they all do, whether the peeps always like it, find it convenient or not. We've been carefully programmed by them to respond to their every wish and are glad to do it!!!! |

1 Attachment(s) So cute! My boys are like that. Both of them will hit and try to shove whatever you are holding like your cell phone or iPad until you put it down or they work their way past it. Joey would spend his whole life on my chest if he could. This is a picture when Joey was laying on my chest and fell asleep on my face lol. |

Piper gives little quiet ga-ruffs to get my attention and if that doesn't work, she'll flat out bark. But my girl is very stingy with kisses and cuddling. I think it's pretty dang sweet that your little one is so sweetly assertive in order to give (and I'm sure GET) smooches!!! |

Emma will do this. She knows she has to catch me off guard to get that kind of affection because I don't like dog kisses. But when she hops on my chest, lays her head and looks me in the eye my heart melts and just rub her until she's ready to leave. As she's gotten older she's much more of a lap baby. |
