Its the little things that count I am so happy right now. It really is the little things that are making my day. I called my groomer to see if they were going to start taking dogs or had a waitlist as the stay home order is expected to end soon. Since I have been a long time customer he said that he is accepting dogs on a limited basis on the DL. I have an appointment for Bella and Thumper on Saturday. I am so happy they are in desperate need of a good grooming. I will just drop them off at front and he requested cash payment. They will be the only ones in the facility and I trust him completely as I have used him many times. This just brightened my day. |
LOL, I know just how you feel. My groomer works from her home, she does the grooming in large room on the lower level of her house. She started taking limited clients 2 weeks ago, lucky me, lucky Cody were one of the chosen few. No clients are allowed in the grooming area, she comes out with mask and gloves to get the dogs, she has always had just the dog she is working on, not like other grooming places were they have several dogs waiting. I expect her to continue not allowing any clients to enter the grooming area and that's fine with me as long as he can get groomed. |
We certainly understand! My girls have an appointment on Monday. Hooray! |
They did a thing here where you had to have a letter from the vet to get them groomed but now as of Friday they can do it normally. People don’t get with these breeds that have constant growing hair that it really is essential to have grooming. |

From everything I've read, hospital shifts caring for the extra influx of such sick patients requiring intensive care and monitoring were all physically grueling, psychologically draining, fear of the workers for their personal safety, that of their own families and long, 12 - 24 hours +, even in the small state of Maryland. There's a lot of work for pet lovers to do in all states who didn't deem pet care and welfare services as essential and allowed to remain open as long as basic CDC pandemic protocols were observed. |
I am so excited for them. My groomer called and said he can't do tomorrow as he has an emergency but I booked them for next week. Oh well if the weather is nice I need to go get my anti-body test for Covid and its outside so I am going to bring them and than go for a walk. It is in an area I have not explored in a while. As long as I have my mask I think I will be fine. I have been cooped up in the house too long I need some fresh air. |
Mask and distance and you should be fine. The pups will enjoy a nice walk in a unfamiliar area. To bad the groomer cancelled until next week. Cody's hair grows fast, he was 2 months without a haircut, I was so happy when my groomer contacted me, so I know how much you are looking forward to getting the pups groomed. |
Our groomer just called us yesterday. Max, Sasha and Katrina (cat) will finally get groomed on 6/18. Our little hippies will get trimmed just in time for the warm weather |
