Not a new thread probably but... I am so upset. I know this is nothing new (people not being happy with grooming) but just picked my baby up from the groomer and I’m not happy. This is a groomer I’ve used before but haven’t in awhile. I went in masked and with very specific instructions. The most important thing: I didn’t want anything cut off his face. I’ve purchased many, many bows in delight that his hair has grown enough for a top knot. No hair sticking in his eyes anymore and everything lays down perfect. He was at the point where he would let me put the bows in. His face looked so full like I love it. I pick him up 4 hrs later and top knot cut off and all t almost a close shave around his eyes and nose. Why..... Sorry for the rant but I am piss’d. And she had the nerve to say she’ll write down the instructions next time so it won’t be confusion. As if. |
Wow, I would have been in a rage. Two years ago I had a groomer cut one side of my boys pony tail that was about 6 inches long, the left side was 3 inches high, eight side was 6 inches long. It takes two years for my pups head hair to grow so I know just how you feel. Needles to say, I never went there again. |
Oh I am sorry to hear this! What did she say? Oh I would be mad too. Very angry! |

Dog You can groom him. There's videos on line. You will need a few different scissors and a good clipper. Happy grooming ! |
That's why I hate leaving my dog for any work of any kind. Some employee of even the groomer/owner at the business just doesn't show up that day mentally or doesn't care or who knows what and why all the horrible things happen that do happen. Even if you ask to speak to the specific person who may be working on your dog, can mean nothing if they misunderstood, had to leave the job to another or any of an armful of reasons why this go so wrong. Even if you write instructions down, date and sign them, the note gets left up front or whatever. Just never know for sure until you see your dog again. |
I totally agree |
