Too much for who? <grins and winks> For the dogs!? I think not! THEY WOULD LOVE THIS! Plus. It makes for a more fun day for them to do something after the Grooming.....rather than just going to the Groomers than home. |

One thing I learned a LOOOOOOONG time ago with my Cockers......No matter how choppy the haircut first looks, in a week or two, they look GOOD! Ha Ha <whispers> Same is true with Deron's (my husband) hair. I cut it too. When we are going some where, I cut it a few days to a week before the planned event.....when it will look 'good'. |
I just saw an online dog grooming course offered through Groupon It’s normally $175 and they are offering it for 17 I’ll try to get the link if you’re interested. |

Also on YouTube, check out Myfavoritegroomer.com videos. She does trims similar to how you keep yours. She explains how to do and fix a lot of stuff especially with using the clippers. And a really cool new tool called Scaredy cut https://www.amazon.com/Scaredy-Cut-S.../dp/B004ZEJDL4. I need this for Chloe as she’s not tolerating anything that makes noise at this point. |

I mean, I have no idea why that would be too much? lol. Maybe I am just used to Jackson, who I often have out for hours at a time and he still never gets tired lol. But I would absolutely do this vs. driving back and forth. It may be nice for you to get some time with just 2 vs having all 4 as well. Sometimes on the weekends, we have Jackson and Lola out with us for like 5-6 hours lol. We will go to like a pet store, do some shopping in pet friendly human stores like going to Michaels Crafts, Ulta Beauty, Bath & Body Works, etc, and then we'll do a 2ish mile walk at the park. It's the only way to tire Jax out, otherwise he will drive me crazy at home and be super bored :p so we try to fill out weekends up with fun.... |
PS -we get the loyalty to your groomer situation. Jackson did terrible when we used to have to drop him off somewhere. I wished I had used mobile from the very beginning and given him a better experience from puppyhood. Anyway we found a mobile groomer when he was around 2yrs old and he is now 11 and we still use her. She is amazing and I drive over an hour to my dads house to have her groom my pups. She is over the bay bridge so it's usually an all day production and I end up just staying the night at my dads house to make the drive worth it. |
