Introducing myself I've been reading yorkietalk for 4 years, ever since we got our Gracie. I decided to finally post an intro because after MUCH debating and research, we bred her in August. The vet confirmed today that she is pregnant. I do have the breeder to assist me, along with my vet, but just in case, I thought it wouldn't hurt to introduce myself here and make some friends 😊 |
Welcome to YT! Hope to find out more about you, and your sweet Gracie...keep us informed. |
Welcome. I’m sad to hear you breed your baby but am glad you have a mentor for it. |
You have already judged and found me unworthy to breed based on that info? I'm sorry but you need not post your negative comments. No wonder people don't like this forum.:thumbdown |

I agree with Lovetodeam88 about the breeding process, that should be left up to the experts. Breeding to better the breed not to just produce puppies for sale. Anyone can post to any thread as long as they stay in the YT rules guide lines, you cannot tell ppl what to post and to not post. And if ppl do not like this community it is because they do not want to hear the truth. I pray for the sake of your sweet little girl that she has a smooth and safe whelping and healthy chubby babies. |

Welcome to YT - or more specifically, welcome to posting on YT, since it sounds like you’ve been reading awhile. Per YT rules, all members are welcome to post on any thread. All members, including yourself, are welcome to express their opinions as long as their postings follow YT’s rules. We’ve all been sensitive to differing opinions at one time or another, so we know what that feels like. But please take a moment to pause if you’re triggered by other members’ opinions. Thanks :)! |
People are rude on this forum, and that's why others don't like posting here. It's very evident. Anyone can be an animal advocate, but how about treating others decently? I've seen multiple posts from Taylor that are judgmental and holier-than-thou. But if someone were to treat her posts the way she responds to others, she would probably cry. You can defend her all you like, but if I had a predisposed attitude to her response, it was based on my prior observations of her comments. |
I interpret her comment of "sad" the way I do. My thoughts, feelings, past experiences color this. It was an ambiguous comment by itself. but still judging. Because she was expressing her opinion on something, or "judging" it. If she'd like to clarify that she wasn't commenting in a nasty way or negatively, I've yet to hear it from her post. If anything she reinforced it by listing what people should/should not do in breeding and implied that I was breeding incorrectly and "skipping steps." Are you still going to defend her? After I correctly inferred her comment and she supported it?? Okay then. Your decision. |
