Yorkie Ball Beds I haven't been on this site for SEVERAL years now. Anyway, I have 2 female small dogs: 7 yr old & 5 yr old. Both dogs are adorable - except for one thing: they HATE each other's guts!!! It happened when the youngest came into heat & was too small to be fixed. We had to wait a cycle. After that, and after she was fixed, the older dog began to attack the little one particularly at the food bowl. They live on separate floors of my home. It's been that way for about 4 years. Now that my last child is going to college, it will be too difficult to care for both dogs by myself. One of the dogs will be travelling with my DD to school in the fall. I'm trying to locate the company that made great ball beds (NOT a donut bed) that have a cotton shell & the amount of stuffing is just right for a small dog to sink into. I haven't found another bed like it. Both my dogs love it. I want to send a new bed like that with my DD. A person used to advertise the beds here & then perhaps donate part of the profits to Yorkiehaven ???? *I think??* If anyone recalls the maker, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks. |
I think you are talking about the cloud 9 beds that Yorkie Haven rescue used to sell. I’m not sure that they are doing them anymore. Linda might be able to tell you for sure https://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/member.php?u=13250 |
Thank you so much!!!:D |

Linda contacted me. She's not making them anymore. Such a shame. They are the most awesome beds & our little guys LOVE them!! :) |

https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/sto...B&gclsrc=aw.ds Googled dog ball beds and found this link. Show Bed, Bath & Beyond used to carry Sherpa puff ball beds, though don’t know how old this listing is. Seem to remember seeing them one or two other places online few years back when I got Tibbe a Cloud 9. |
Someone contacted me on Etsy today looking for these Cloud Nine Beds. The problem with the beds is that it got to be way too expensive to make and ship the beds. For years a couple of us donated all of the supplies and YHR sold them for a set price and it was a win for the pups. It got to be a financial burden for those of us who donated all of it as the stuffing alone is expensive. It is not the fiberfill you see in many. Then, on top of it, shipping prices went up dramatically. I will take a look at this and see how much they would cost to make now (IF I can purchase the stuffing...it had gotten to be hard to find) and will perhaps post on my Etsy shop in the near future. I am also going to look for some bags I could perhaps ship them in, cutting down on shipping costs. I think for some the price might be too high but I will post and let people decide. |
Cody absolutely loves his, depending on the size I would love another one. |
