Yorkies Being Stolen In south Georgia A notice I received today on Facebook from Glynn County Animal Control in Brunswick GA. We are on the east coast just above Florida: BE AWARE! There appears to be a rash of Yorkie/Teacup Yorkie thefts in Glynn County going on at this time. Please keep an eye on your dog and have him/her microchipped to improve their chances of being found if stolen. We offer free microchipping at our shelter Mondays through Fridays 12-5 and at all of our mobile adoption events. If you have any information about the theft of Yorkies from multiple homes, please call the Glynn County Silent Witness Line at (912) 264-1333. If you ave a Facebook account (who doesn't these days?) you will be able to see the notice here: https://www.facebook.com/glynncounty...&theater&ifg=1 |
That’s just so terrible. I can’t imagine how terrible that is for the pups and the people. It’s not really a big issue where we are but I still keep locks on our gates. |
Always better to be safe then sorry. I don't have a tiny boy but he is never left alone outside, ppl take dogs for different reasons, bait for fights or fast sale for quick cash. Never, never leave your pups alone in even a gated yard not even for a minute, that's all it takes for a thief to steal them. |
Oh wow, I never leave Duchess alone outside. While I live in a safe neighborhood, my biggest fear has always been someone breaking in stealing her. I do have an alarm but Duchess loves people and would walk right up to her kidnappers arms. |
