Great Customer Service from Wellness Dog Food
 

I called Wellness Dog Food today because Bella's food was once again unavailable on both Amazon and Chewy. This is the second time this year it has happened. I called to find out if it was discontinued or they were just back logged.

The agent was super nice. She said no the 10.5 bag is still being sold. I told her unfortunately in my area retailers do not sell it because it is not a popular brand. Bella eats Limited Ingredient Salmon and Sweet Potato for Small Breeds (the regular bite size is too big for her)

She said she understands and they have one bag at their center she was willing to ship me. I asked how much it would cost and she said they will give it to me free of charge. I was not expecting that. I was amazed at how nice the company was for doing this.

She said said they never offer direct buy but because this was the second time this year the product is not available online she got the approval to send it to me.

When I called I was not looking to get anything for free or even a discount. I was only calling to find out if the product would be available soon. This shows me what a great company they are. I will try and keep using all Wellness Products for food if I ever need to switch for Bella.

Thought I would pass along a company that has great customer service!

Check out Addiction Dog Food At Chewy.com. I have been a Wellness Customer for over 20 years. They keep changing formulas and taking out premium ingredients in foods that they used to put in their dog food. Prices going up and my dog foods always had lots of powder not dog food in bags. I’m done with Wellness!

My Yorkie loves it! I get the Lamb one, but they also offer a Salmon One. Check it out at Chewy. My decision came about when My Yorkie started not to eat her food and she eats everything. She is not a picky food eater. When Dog is not happy it means something has changed in dog food. Plus They have extreme amounts of Protein for small dogs in their dry dog foods, it’s too much on their kidneys and liver, not good.

Did you try to contact the company about the issue? It might have been the company who sold you the bags fault not wellness. The protein is not an issues unless they can a health issue. I highly doubt just because she wouldn’t eat their food meant something changed. You do realize that most of the grain free food has been causing heart issues right? Wellness is a good food they have actual vets on staff and great quality control.

Yes for the past few years, I got tired of calling each month for 3 years, unfortunately they keep changing things took off the zip lock on bags also which was great, as for the powder in bags, it’s not the company who sells it to me Chewy which is awesome it’s Wellness, as I have purchased food from other companies that sell Wellness also, Wellness has admitted to it it after hundreds of people have complained online and called Wellness about it. The Price keeps going up I am getting less product and more powder. As for Wellness yes they were a good company for a period of time but just like all the other American Companies are giving us less product for more $$$$$$.

Addiction Food has vets on staff highly trained professionals and quality control also. In today’s World, you have to educate yourself and be on top of things that keep changing especially when it pertains to your little babies. No body else is looking out for them except yourself.

I did look it up I’m not that impressed. I also don’t feel this was the correct thread to bring it up on. I did notice a few places I looked it up mentioned that people need to be aware of the heart issues when choosing this food. It looks like a fly by night company to me. I also noticed they won’t answer some of the questions on their website like any testing they do. Food that has been shipped around can turn to powder I have had issues like that with treats from chewy.
