clothing rant Just need to rant about Ollie being in between sizes! So it looked like Ollie was going to be the same size as Joey who is 12 pounds. They were fallowing the same weight at certain ages and stuff. Well Ollie was 11 pounds and I was like this is great they can share clothes and everything. Well Ollie dropped back down to 10 pounds and is now between sizes! Small is to to small and medium which is what Joey wears is to big! I put one of Joeys shirts on him today thinking the tank looked smaller then the tshirts well I was wrong and he peed on it so I had to put him in one of Joeys old tanks that's a small and it is a bit to small. I don't know what to do with this boy I swear nothing fits him right. With four its also not like when I just had one or two so I can't just go out and buy lots clothes if I could find them the right size so he can out grow them. I'm still thinking he should be 11.5 to 12 pounds and hoping the end of his pickiness ends soon and we will get there. They wear clothes pretty much year round unless we go somewhere when its hot or we are outside a lot on a warm or hot day. The boys also have that thinner silky hair and get colder then the girls who have super thick hair. So just my rant. |
It's frustrating because in some clothes Gidget is an ESMALL and they fit just fine and in others I have bought for her she needs a 2X. If I'm ordering them off the internet it's sometimes hard to decide which size to get. Sometimes when I order something I realize I needed a between size which they don't make. Oh, well. |
That's the reason I either take Cody with me and try things on, everything depends on the manufacturer. Most times he'll fit in size small, sometimes I have to get a med. If I order on line I buy 2 sizes and return the one that doesn't fit, thing is if I got free shipping returns I pay the shipping fee. |

I use PetSmart and Pet Supplies for T-shirts and that's another concern how high it comes on his belly for pee room. I try them on first, if he's not with me I buy 2 dif. sizes, return what doesn't fit or cut to low for male pups. |

I have issues like that....some of the manufacturers make their clothes smaller and some larger...so I work with that as best I can. I am having an issue right now with the puppy I am fostering...she is able to wear some XS and some are way too big. It is frustrating... |

Lovetodream88, if you can find it, my favorite brand of tees for boys is Dog is Good. They no longer make clothes for dogs, but if you can find them, they're great! The come pretty low on the back, and cut high on the underside so they don't pee on it. My favorite is the "YOUR DOG doesn't know SIT" that Kaji got as a gift. I found one on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dog-is-Good...r=540149959363 |
It's so crazy.... Jackson can be an XS in one brand and a L in another lol. He is sooo hard to fit for anything, always in between sizes! |
