CBD oil and Callie So I’m hoping to not get bad or negative responses about this but I wanted to share this. Callie will be 12 in a month in a half. She has several health issues as many of you know. Due to ACL surgery’s and LP surgery’s her back knees and legs are arthritic. She is on an anti inflammatory/ pain medicine. She does pretty well but she always has a slight limp even on good days. She still has a great quality of life and try’s to chase a play with the younger ones. Well after much research and reading lots of reading I have opted to put Callie on CBD. Not the treats or pet products that say they have them in it but real human grade CBD oil with no THC. I know I’m normally a person who likes to know the long term effects of things and have had studies on things but due to Callie’s age I don’t think long term effects will be an issue. She has been taking it twice a day for a week and a half and I have seen a huge difference. She is more perky, feisty and she can get right up after sleeping for awhile with almost no stiffness. I am amazed by how well this is working. It’s a bit expensive about $80 for a months worth but it’s very worth it. I’m so happy this is working and making her life better. Anyone with an older dog with arthritis issues this really works and might be something to look into. |

AWESOME!! The therapeutic possibilities of the cannabinoids from hemp or THC are amazing...this is why the gov't is now conducting so much research about cannabis, finally! The one you're using is just from hemp, but still can have some effects. The CBD oils from cannabis are way more therapeutic bc they contain much more effective and contain varied cannabinoids and terpenes (terpenes are really what have amazing specificity toward certain benefits). Also keep in mind that CBD oil from hemp is not regulated *at all* - so there is no way to know what you're actually getting in any bottle. Whereas CBD from cannabis is strictly regulated, must disclose the exact chemical make up and strength, and the plants are bred specifically for certain therapeutic benefits. Keep in mind too that when you buy CBD from cannabis, you do not need to buy one with THC - and that is disclosed on the bottles. Here is one article, but there are so many more out there: https://www.greenrelief.ca/blog/cbd-...mp-difference/ |

Oh, poor dog ((( Actually CBD is a very cool thing. |
Oh, poor dog! CBD is a very cool thing. I took it myself for a while, my doctor recommended it to me. I was a very anxious person because of my health problems. CBD helped me a lot, but I didn't even know that some people give them to dogs. My Lucy is already 9 and a half years old, not quite old yet, but she already has health problems. Our veterinarian advised treatment for her, but it didn't help her much. She also has arthritis. I read an article on 3 Different CBD Products for Your Dog - Choosing A Dog - Site Root - Dog Community, and I decided to try CBD for my dog. She got much better, so I understand you, and you're right to use CBD remedy for her. |
My yorkie MacGuyver will be 12 in May. He started limping about a month ago. I brought him to the vet and he has luxated patella. They put him on pain meds for 10 days. I called after the 10 days to see what we do from here. They’re going to do blood work to see if he’s ok for long term medication. I don’t really want him taking medications every day as I feel they’ll upset his stomach. I asked about CBD oils but they don’t prescribe them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! |

I have also noticed a positive effect on my dog since he started consuming CBD oil. He seems to feel full of energy, and I don't see him suffering. Many people think that this is just a myth that CBD oil helps, so I decided to try it on my dog, and it works. I am a consumer of CBD products, and I feel much more relaxed with a state of well-being. I consumed CBD oil for half a year when I went through a breakup with my girlfriend. I already feel better, but I continue to consume CBD gummies that I use to buy from this brand https://www.tillmanstranquils.com/pr...0mg-melatonin/. These are with melatonin and help me sleep well. |

My little Yorkie also had ACL surgery, but seems to be doing ok with her leg. She is just 12 Unfortunately I had to use the CBD oil 5 days ago to help her breath. She Went into respiratory distress and only had the CBD oil on hand that help for about an hour or two. I brought her to the vet and did X-rays and labs. Her abdomen was distended and found to have a large mass. She has had pancreatitis in the past a few times. She hide her illness well. She ate, drank, took little walks, pooped and was able to pea. The probable cancer hit fast. I could of put her thru exploratory surgery, but choose not to and did not know she may have already dealing with silent discomfort. I choose at that time to have her go to sleep. Heartbreaking decision. She was my best friend. Loved her. Yes, CBD helped her and was glad I had it on hand. |
That's cool, I didn't know that dogs, too, can be given CBD medication to calm down, didn't know until I took my yorkie to the vet and he prescribed it for me. I too use CBD to relax because I suffer from high concentration on something all the time. The main thing is not to be addicted to it, but cbd oil for dogs сanada gets me high, and I am happy when my dog is calm and healthy. |
