Dog slings Anyone have any good reviews on dog slings? I like to walk my babies, but my baby boy is going blind and he no longer wants to walk. He wants to be picked up all the time. He is six years old and about 3.5 lbs. Pros/Cons |
I use a sling that I made for my Bon Bon when we are in a location where I don't want him running about. I got the directions off YouTube and I sewed it myself. It works really well for Bon Bon. I used a polar fleece for the lining and he is safe and snuggly warm. Since I live in Wisconsin, where it regularly gets in the single digits or below zero, I care about him staying warm. Just do a search for 'Dog Sling DIY' and you should find it. I used her measurements and Bon Bon is 4.98 pounds. (Just had a vet visit.) This sling is really comfy for me to wear for hours. |
We bought this one back in 2015 and Sasha loves it. Toni works from home on Fridays and as soon as Sasha sees her pick this up she runs right to her side. Sasha could stay in here for hours. The small size is perfect for Sasha - she weighs just under 5 pounds. Max doesn't want anything to do with it. He wants to be picked up once in a while but after a couple of quick licks to my face he starts to wiggle to get back down. Sasha on the other hand will let you hold her all day! She is my cuddle bear! https://www.doggy-market.com/collect...nt=11797498628 |

A few months ago I was hoping in the future I could get one of those shoulder bags or slings to use for Mike sometimes, but once he went over 9 lbs I gave up )) |
Thanks so much! I just can't decide... He needs to pick it out. lol |
