HELP ME PLEASE! New Yorkie Mom! Hello everybody! 1rst of all I want to thank this forum and everybody because before joining I always came here to read a lot about Yorkies! So here’s the thing... I have a 16 week old Yorkie and she is tiny she is just 1.76 pounds! So she looked to me like a normal Yorkie Black and Tan! But suddenly her head Jaír started to get white! So i came here and read it was normal! After that days began to be really cold so I put of a PJ to my baby and after taking the PJ out of her she was full of knots! (I normally comb her).. Then I take her for her first bath and hair cut so the vet recommended to cut a lot of hair because of the pj knots and I told him ok! When i arrived to pick her up! She was complete different! Her back is completely grey!! I read yorkies change hair but she is not even 4 months old! Is it normal ? Hope anybody could help me! Here are some pictures: Baby https://m.imgur.com/gallery/Ds6Kgwq And now: https://m.imgur.com/gallery/Pg2VwQU https://m.imgur.com/gallery/EWaqz5l |
It is normal for hair color to change especially if they have been shaved down. |

Yes it's normal, my boy is steel grey body and tan face and legs. |
2 Attachment(s) Their coat can change through out their life. It even happens now when I let his coat grow in on his back and then shave it down. Here's a few pics of his changes. At one point his head was very white now quite gold. |
