I May Have Created A Monster It's an appropriate title, since It's Halloween! Or was! Lol. I look down to find Freya with one of my sock in her MOUTH. It was one I'd left on the floor, not of the pair I'm currently wearing. I am busy arting, so I let her take it to her bed. And THEN I look down and see she's found its PARTNER SOCK lol. I balled up a sock the other day and was getting her to jump down and get it and "bring it to Daddy." For exercise. It's low energy for me, higher for her.I think I will buy her a small pack of smaller socks, something that stands out. |
awwww. I love when their personalities start to come out. I rescued by very first yorkie from a back yard breeder. When I brought her home, she was so timid and scared. When she saw my cat for the first time, she immediately rolled onto her back in a very submissive permission and start shaking. It broke my heart. Fast forward a few years, and this once shy timid, scare little yorkie had major diva attitude. It was my fault, after where she had come from, I promised that I would spoil her rotten the rest of her life. My Brandi was a card carrying member of the spoiled rotten club. She had turned into a diva. Rest in Peace Brandi.......mommy still misses and loves you. |
She likes your socks because they smell like you. |
Great stories, good comments. Brings a smile to my face. --KatysMom |
A fun, cheap toy, is to take a toy ball and put it inside the sock and tie a knot to keep it in there. Just make sure the ball is big enough so that if she gets it out, she won't choke on it. And yes, she will attack your socks from now on. LOL You might want to keep them off of the floor. (been there, done that) |
Piper likes to "steal" things and then have me chase her around trying to get item back--couple of toys and often a glove. She loves getting them out of my purse or from a little box in bedroom. This all started when she stole a toy out of a bottom bin at Wal-Mart. Little goofballs!!! |
