Do we take better care of them than we do ourselves?
 
On more than one occasion I have gotten up in the morning and:

Play with them in the bed before going downstairs
Put them in the garage to do their business (on pads)
Give Max his LP med
Give Sasha her hip med
Give Sasha her allergy med
Give them each a cherrio for taking their meds
Make sure they have water
Make sure they have food
Clean/ change their inside pee/poop pad
puts some peanut butter into kongs to give them as I leave the house

Then I get to work and realize I forgot to take my pills. I do 10 things for them and don't remember to do the 1 thing for myself!! :2omg: :2omg:

LOL I go through the same thing, now I have my cell alarm set to go off for my med. lol.

yeah sounds about right. I think we do more for them because we want to make sure they are not in pain and they are not suffering in anyway and all of their needs are met. They can't go to the doctors when they get sick. We can.

However we do have to take care of ourselves. If we get sick, we can't properly take care of our furbabies.

I shop for Bon Bon's clothing FAR more often than I shop for people clothing. I alter items to fit him, but hubster must beg to get his pants hemmed. However, I'm extremely good about not getting toys. Mostly because it is so difficult to find them it his size. If he can't reach the squeaker when he bites, it isn't any fun.

Yes. I didn't take cold medicine yesterday because I wanted to be awake and alert to take care of Fabian, who had doggie diarrhea. I stayed home for him and he got taken to the vet. Today, I'm back at work, swigging $3 generic cold/flu pills.

Yep. Callie skin is pristine now (she has skin issues) yet I still have pretty decent psoriasis lol.

Oh yeah for sure lol. I'm boiling chicken for Jackson and I'm eating freakin' Pizza Hut last night. LOL!!!

I also spend way more money on his stuff than I do my own stuff ha

I'm having a bit of trouble remembering MY pills now lol. Although I right now have no pills to give wee Freya. But I would totally agree! I have long and don't brush it much unless I'm going out lol, yet I make sure she's taken care of.
