Oh No! I have an appointment schedule for Freya Wednesday for her first vet visit. But something bad has happened! I don't drive, you see, so my mom is my transportation. Coming out of her long, dirt trailer road, she was hit by the lady next door neighbor coming out of her driveway. Her car is f'd up. She can drive it, but I'm not sure she can take Freya to her appointment. |

Were I in your shoes, I'd contact the vets office to let them know there *might* be an issue; keep them in the loop as to Freya's transportation status. Separately, have you figured out a safe travel carrier or device for your mom and Freya to use in the car? Something is better than nothing. Again, I hope your mom is okay. Will keep you all in my thoughts. --KatysMom |
I’m so sorry. Do you have other family members? There are many other ways to go places these days like Uber, Lyft and Taxi’s. You might want to look at those. You also need to think of emergency transportation like if Freya had an emergency and needed a vet ASAP how would you get her there? |
I'm waiting...a bit. My mom seems to think she has plenty of time to sort this out. And she's fine, btw! I should have stated that lol. She's 71 and still driving! Is 70 the new 50? Lol. |
I'm glad mom is doing okay. Yeah Freya's grandmother. |

When my mom sees her, she says, "how's grandma's girl?" :) |
Awwww your mom loves her too, how sweet. |

She TRIED to force me to keep her original name--Abby--and for the first bit kept using it. It's like she didn't know that when you buy or rescue a dog you don't have to keep its original name! |
