Flea and tick chews Those of you who give a chewable flea and tick prevention what do you give? I have been using Nexguard for years and love it but with 4 it’s expensive like $230 for 12 chews. |
I use NexGard. That's what Vet recommended for Gidget. I get mine from petmeds.com. Pkg of 12 or up to 10# dog is $219.68. Pkg of 12 for dog over 10# is $222.94 with free shipping. I know it's expensive but flea infestation and tick disease scare me into paying this price |
My vet recommended Simparica, this is Cody's 3rd summer using it, no fleas or ticks. |
I like Simparica. It's a bit cheaper than Nexgard on my vet's online pharmacy. I've never had any bad reactions. I think it actually covers one more extra tick than Nexgard, maybe? |
I just checked. On my vets online pharmacy, Simparica is $183 for 12 pack of the 11-22lb size. Nexgard is $236 for the 12 pack in the 10-24lb range. |
1-800-PETMEDS Simparica 12 pack $138.52 for a 11-22 lb dog. https://www.1800petmeds.com/Simparic...saAiekEALw_wcB |

I may have to try Simparica. I only buy from my vet of their online pharmacy to many issues with counterfeit products for me to feel comfortable buying else where. I have been buying Ollie’s nexguard one at a time because I know he is going to at least hit that 10 pound mark. |
