E-collar alternatives? 1 Attachment(s) Last Wednesday Precious got spayed & a bump removed. Everything was going well until she started to bother her bump incision. I already took her to the vet again once becuase I thought she gave herself an infection. This morning she woke me up with the sound of her licking. I had some gauze on it with some medical tape but she took it off. It was finally starting to heal & now this has happened. Once again it’s looking red, bled, & I can see the stitches. She licked so much her skin feels raw. She hasn’t even bothered her spay incision (its healing amazingly) nor did she bother the bump when it was on her. E-collars are literally too big & she can’t function with them. It’s located on her inner thigh area. She keeps a onesie on but I think I may need a smaller size. Does anyone have any experience with this? What did you do? I’ll attach a picture to where it’s located |

Your going to have to put the ecollar on at night and when you can’t watch her. They make really small ones and normally your vet can appropriately size one. |

I used a small e-collar and bought (human) newborn onesies from Walmart. It worked out really well! |

There used to be someone here on YT who makes the soft cloth cones. |
