Also - if your display is looking strange - please post a screenshot, bc we don't know what you're seeing on your end.

Can you see me ripping my hair out? So I did as Ann suggested, and downloaded Foxfire browser to see if it would fix the slowness I have. Well foxfire says this is an insecure site, password can be hacked and info. stolen, it went on to say if the password used is used on other accounts change your password. Well 2 1/2 hours later and 3 YT 15 minutes lock ous for invalid password that YT issued, I finely got back on, bald headed but on forum. I will see if this foxfire resolves the slowness. :(

Ok, using Foxfire browser still have the slowness no change.

I'm using Firefox to reply to your comment. It took only 5 seconds for the comment box to appear. It's clearly something specific to either certain computers, or certain parts of the country, or your internet service provider. Have you had any problems with other websites like amazon.com or Facebook? Edit: 5 seconds to edit this comment, and 7 seconds to post.

I was using microsoft edge then took Ann's suggestion and down loaded Firefox, only slow on YT, FB, emails all ok with Firefox and microsoft Edge. It's not my computer, on April 2nd when this started I thought it was my computer, I called the tech said comp. was running very slow, they worked their lil magic said comp. was ok, I asked they stay on a minute and let me check the forum that I use daily, when I came on YT it was still slow, the tech had my comp. on remote so they saw what I was talking about. They worked on speeding my computer up, erased all my cookies, passwords, and what not, we tested YT again, still slow, the tech said it had to be the forum. Using microsoft edge it was instant, I used the stopwatch on my cell it recorded 15 second delay.

Admin to the rescue :)! He hopped on almost immediately after I let them know there seemed to be ongoing issues. Hopefully something will get fixed here soon for those having trouble.

Sighhh. YorkieForum is still very slow, still convoluted, still looks strange and I still cannot click on link the way I used to--doing so (via e-mail) took me to that specific post. It used to be so easy, so fast, so sensible. I remain patiently hopeful for administrator to get things back in order, so to speak!

Same here, I have 2 other computers, tried them, still 15+ seconds slow on going from one thread to another or submitting replies.

No issues here with either Firefox or Microsoft Edge. As Wylie's Mom said, if people could post screen shots of the strange formatting they're seeing, that would be helpful. I've seen a smidge of strange formatting when I've looked at some older posts, but they're still readable. I'll try to find one and post a picture. All of the current content looks great to me, though.

Okay, I'll go first. I'm attaching a copy of what old posts look like and a copy of what new posts look like. The differences are mainly odd coloring and formatting, but nothing that prevents normal navigation. My posting and reply speeds are also normal.

WOW - interesting!!! Because I've never ever seen the display look like the "old.jpg" ever - like ever!

It's always looked like that 2nd pic, for years and years for me.

I never had weird formatting, formatting has stayed the same for me, it's the slowness I have since April 2nd. I am now using Firefox since April 9th per Ann's suggestion, no changes, still 15 + seconds delay only on YT. What I noticed this morning while playing one of YT games was, after I clicked submit, on the bottom left side of screen was flashing "waiting for yorkietalk.com to respond" then it accepted the reply. I have only slowness, not instant as I have had since joining YT.

I'll try to do a screen shot, but Yorkie Forum has always had the same look, format since I became a member. Also, I can no longer click on link provided in e-mail to go directly to corresponding post. Logging in takes forever, as does everything else. If I can figure out how to do a screen shot, I will do so and post it.

This is how mine looks - and you can see how I have multiple active tabs open. In addition, I have 4 other windows active that also have multiple tabs open within them. And I'm not having issues.

So while some issues may be YorkieTalk.com related - I really do think there is something going on within your local user settings or something as well - I just have no clue what :confused:...!?!?

Phil's old and Dana's (Jkpal) screen shot I have gotten before my issue started "only" when I used my vista computer and had to put in my user name and password using google chrome. I use a windows 10 laptop now I have normal window just very slow on anything I do on YT.

I’m not able to attach photos anymore. And none of the posts are dated. Says mobile version at the top but won’t switch to normal version to see if it’s any different.

I want the 'old' version back, too! I never wanted or requested a mobile version. Does anyone know how I get rid of it? And again and again and again...Will I ever be able to click on link and go directly to that post?

I am finding YT very slow, both to open or change pages. I am using an IPad on IOS.
All other web sites are ok so I don’t think it is an issue with my computer?

So, if you don't want the mobile version...have you tried changing the thread display options in your CP yet (YT Control Panel)...?

YEAH YEAH YEAH!!! It's back to "normal" and it's quick again and I'm so very happy! Thank you very, very much!!! Aaaahhhh, so nice!! This is how I look when computer works!
