How many eggs?
 
I was wondering how many eggs are too much? Hayley has about 1-2 teaspoons of egg about 4-5 days a week. I put her grizzley salmon oil on them cause thats the only way I can get her to take her it( btw) ( the oil is doing wonders for her skin and coat.) She goes crazy when she hears me beating the eggs in a bowl before scrambling. Just wondering if this is too much, she still eats the right amount of her kibble,but she really likes her eggs for breakfast!

I am curious too I was going to start feeding my dogs eggs for their coats.

Sherry when I got Silk from that show/breeder lady she gave me her dinner for that night. She gave me one boiled egg, one can puppy Ceser's and a pouch of dry food. Ignorant me, gave her the whole egg. She gobbled it up. I called the lady the next morning and she told me to mix one-fourth can puppy Ceser's and one half egg per meal. Once in the morning and in the evening. So I just kind of smash it up together. She said the puppy food AND the boiled egg are good for the coat. She said she boils fourteen dozen eggs per week. Yes, she had that many dogs.

thanks for the 2 that responded but I figured I would get a lot of info about this......maybe I am posting too many questions and everyone is tired of it lol

I feel Stewie 1.5 scrambled eggs once a week. I don't feed egg for his coat. I use Omega 3 oil

My dogs have a whole egg a couple times a week. They like them, but I don't think they would enjoy them as much if they got them more often.
My dogs really like a wide variety of foods and not the same foods all the time.

I can't think of anything more healthy - or less harmful - than eggs. I certainly wouldn't worry about them.

My dogs get eggs a couple of times a week. Sometimes, I throw in a little cheese, too. My dogs also love the eggs, but like Carol said, maybe they wouldn't like them so much if they got them all the time.

Hello,

I was told NO HUMAN food for Yorkie's... it's not good for them!!!

Now my baby is very young... she will be 9 weeks on thursday... should I start with eggs? and why eggs? alot talk about oil... could someone please explain... Is it silly ... but I have NO clue!!!

I have also been wondering about the eggs, I think I am going to start giving gizmo an egg a few times a week with his meals. He is such a finicky eater anyway! Wouldn't hurt him to eat a little more! I am also curious about these oils?? Would love to hear about them from one of you guys!! Thanks!

i give lexi eggs too, about 1 a week.. im sorry i ever started giving her human food, now i reget it cause she wants it all the time and she dont eat her food.
i have to give her a beaten.... of course im only kidding!! shes my life...she really is and thats so sad...
