Watch dog ? Yeah right Emma will bark and alert at any one walking past our window but when the garage opens and come in the house , she just remains sleep or will poke her head out of her bed as if she was saying “ oh who is that ? Oh you’re back , hello mom , good to see you “ . I figure she just is used to the type of noise but it’s funny to me she is just so chill when we come in. What kind of watch dog do you have ? |

The Joey and Penny will bark and people on the street walking by sometimes if they seem they but they run to the door the opens to the garage barking when they here the big garage door opening. Callie will run to the door to but no barking. All they will do if anyone comes in though is lick and wag them to death lol. |
Duchess is a horrible guard dog. She will sit in the window and bark at everything that moves but if anyone comes in the house, she will lick em to death. She want's to play, she shows them where are the valuables are, she fixes dinner for them and will watch movies with them.......she absolutely sucks as a guard dog.:p:p:p:p:p:p. But to her credit she will bark like crazy if someone is outside the house. |

Jackson is ridiculous. lol In public, he's nearly perfect, he doesn't bark at dogs walking by or people etc. But at home? oh myyy, he will bark his loudest alert bark. It's obnoxious lol. Then Lola starts howling. Nobody can enter our home without people knowing. :rolleyes: |
Garage door, no problem. But let her hear the doorbell or someone knocking, and annie-bar-the-door, cuz now it's on!!! Often when Piper is half asleep and she hears those hated sounds coming from tv, she'll start to growl, ready-ing to bark and I have to repeat, like 6 times, 'Pipe, it's the tv. It's just on tv.' Oh, you bet I try to keep the remote at my finger tips!! |
Cody is a very good watch dog, he would continue to lay on the sofa and watch the thief empty the house. But god help the poor squirrel if he ever caught it lol. |
My Bailey is a watch dog... too much of the time. He'll growl when an airplane goes overhead and I live a couple of cities over from the airport but right in their path. I think I've finally realized why. I listened carefully to the plane noise and, to him, it may sound like a big growl. He's just warning this 'big' animal that he is here and is bigger than they are haha. Perhaps I can get him to wear earplugs:) |

Khloe barks at every little sound. They both bark at people when they come to the door, but calm down eventually once they realize it's not an intruder :p |

Our Zuzi barks as loud as she can when someone rings the doorbell. Sometimes I wonder how are these loud barks coming out from such a small body :D When we open the door she just starts jumping on the legs of whoever is in front of the door. As we live in an apartment building I am happy that she doesn't bark when hearing the elevator moving and stopping on our floor. I can see her ears moving and she notices something is going on but all her madness is released when someone touches the doorbell :D |
