I can’t believe it’s been snowing 28 hours, straight, nonstop. I have 8 inches and it’s still snowing. For all you southern gals and guys, this is what a Pennsylvania winter snow storm looks like :eek: sorry it's sideways IDK why it is

It is snowing hard here in Va. just started early this morning but everything is covered, they gestimated about 5"

We got 4 1/2" in central Illinois, but it has stopped. The temperature is around 0 F. We're sick of the cold snowy weather.

It is 72 degrees and sunny in Detroit right now.

If I were to leave my office and go outside it is only 19 degrees.

Maybe an inch on the ground in So. Central Illinois.
Maybe, 2 inches or so total. We are in a moderate drought in my part of the state.

Tired of the teens for highs and negative degrees for lows :(

I felt it. I was in the family room with the curtains closed on the patio door so I did not see the flash but all of a sudden the whole house shook. Not a violent shake but enough to make the inside curtains move. They said the seismographs registered it as a 2.0 earthquake. Texted the neighbors to make sure I wasn't crazy and they all felt it too. The neighbor directly across the street has a camera facing our house and she sent us the video. At 8:08 PM the sky lit up like it was daytime for a split second. Crazy.

You would need snow shoes, by time it stop snowing (12.noon) I ended up with 9 1/2 inches

Woa. That's so intense. Glad you and all your neighbors were indoors. That would be so scary if walking outside with the dogs!

You're hysterical lol, I would take a blizzard every week end to have your babies. Thanks for fixing my pic. I'm from Da Bronx in NY, I ain't use to all this snow and shoveling, it looks and feels like Alaska with these frigid temps. BTW thanks for the ban lol. :rolleyes:

Oh yea Fargo is no GoT, albeit, it's also quite slow moving. I would say it's kind of Quentin-Tarantino-esque in that it's very beautifully filmed and odd, yet artistic in some ways. The good thing is, each season is kind of a separate story with new characters (tho they're linked).

lol...that was me when I was desperately trying to watch House of Cards! I fell asleep 3 times trying to watch the first episode. And then finally, I just decided to keep going despite not knowing what was happening :D House of Cards is not bad (all that manipulative stuff)...but I don't see what the rave is all about. :rolleyes:

What I also loved was the first season of true detective. The second one didn’t have as much interest. I wonder if and when the third season will air
