Wow, it is hard to believe that YorkieTalk is fourteen years old. A huge thank you to ADMIN, aka FE, the greatest mystery in all of YT. Thank you also to the other admins, moderators, and a very special thank you to KOSS, who is invisibly ever present in a tekkie closet working diligently to keep YorkieTalk running smoothly.

I am sure I have missed thanking others who are vital in keeping YT up and running so consider yourself thanked.

Throughout the day I will be sharing fond YorkieTalk memories and I hope others will do the same.

YT and the very special delivery..
 
Ok, here goes, a fond YT memory - many years ago (7 or 8) the YT chat room was swarming with activity and almost every night an ever changing group would meet to enjoy that special YT comradery. This particular evening, one of our members from across the great pond was in labor with her first child. She chatted until the last possible moment. Left for the hospital and then logged on and we chatted until it was delivery time. She was blessed with a beautiful daughter.

Another fond memory. I had the distinct honor of receiving a phone call from ADMIN himself back in 2007. I was just out of major surgery to repair a shattered tibia and fibula and was still under the influence of some serious drugs. It is amazing how much that short phone call meant to one of YT's biggest fans.

Would love to hear happy memories from other YTers to help celebrate our fabulous 14 year history.

And what about ALWAYS being able to get good advice, from many different perspectives. YTers have helped with innumerable concerns and problems. No doubt that Yorkie lives have been saved and made more pleasant with the great advice from so many.

Chattiesmom, you may not remember me but I have fond memories of way back then too! Sure had lots of fun!!!

With this post I went back through our memories of YT. I joined in 2008 but I didn’t get a yorkie until a year later. What’s even more funny is that some of the questions I asked were answered by Cindy ( chattiesmom) and even Emma’s breeder. Not knowing many years later that we would become cyber friends.

Some things were just meant to be.

It is so good to see you! To be honest, I remember your screen name and remember happy times at YT, but can't remember specifics. Age takes a toll on memories. We did have fun way back when and I look forward to more fun and happy memories in the future.
