Miracle Let me start with telling everyone I have a orphan Yorker puppy. Her mom died after birth. She was 3 weeks early. She was less than oz when she was born. I bottle feed her every two hours with the milk replacement with colostrum for the last month. I took her to the vet and he gave me some nutra cal for which she loves she is now 9 seeks old and weighs 9oz but this morning I woke up and she was really Lethargic and really stuff I panicked and start rubbing her giving her some nutra cal and she begin to come back to life. She is really small but loves to play and is doing better now. But I am afraid to take my eyes off her. Food wise has been really a challenge. She will not eat much. I have to put gravy on her food to make her eat. Any ideals wold be greatly appreciated |
Wish I knew what to tell you Bless your heart for the live you’re showing this poor lil thing Prayers going out to you |
I understand from previous posts that these tiny ones can become hypoglycemic quite quickly and should be fed a small amount, but need to eat frequently cuz they're so little. Also, someone suggested you feed the baby shortly before bed (hopefully to avoid that lethargy). I have no experience at all and am merely repeating what I've learned on this site; these guys know their stuff!! And I agree with Captainizing--bless you for all you're doing for this tiny baby. |
