Interactive learning toys
 
I'm looking for a learning toy for Gidget (she'll be 2 in January). Does anyone have a suggestion? I've seen several advertised on the internet but would like a suggestion from a real person who has used one to teach and play with your little one.

What are you trying to have the dog learn? There are lasers that are interactive, HIDE-A-SQUIRREL and Treat balls are a few that I've had experience with.

the hide-a- toy just sat there, lasers kept them active and engaged and the treatballs are like puzzles.

Thanks, the laser sounds like what I need to keep her moving indoors. We live in a small 525 sq ft apt so her running around is limited to our walks outside. Is the laser toy one actually made to use for kittens? I think I've seen it in that cat section at WalMart.

I love the Kong Wobbler. A lot of the other puzzle toys Jackson just does too quick. The Kong Wobbler is "easy" for him in the sense that he knows exactly what to do (he nudges at it and paws at it and knocks the treats out) but it takes him a bit longer so keeps him entertained.

Callie can do them in 30 seconds lol. Luckily right now it takes longer for Joey and Penny.

My Huey is not a big eater but LOVES treats. In order to get him to eat his kibble, sometimes I put it in a treat toy & he gobbles it up. He LIKES to work for his food!

This video is his first attempt without prior training. All of his prior toys require flipping over & it took him a bit to get used to the spin instead of flip.
