This morning we will meet with our vet again to discuss possible suggestions. many tests, bloodwork, X-rays, bile acid test and ultrasound in December leading to bladder surgery which went very well. However, at that time his liver functions were off, too. He has been on Denamarin since, so it is important to recheck all values before any medication is added. He so hope she will find something to ease his anxiety. He would have such an improved life if he could relax even a little. Here's hoping. Gew |

Prayers for a good outcome from this mornings vet visit. Will be watching for your update. |
Please keep us posted! |
Just got home from the vets. The results of the latest bile acid test were fine, and the liver enzyme test was done again today and the results were all within normal limits. The ophthalmologist said there were no eye problems. Therefore, Spenser was put on Clomacalm . I am to call in a week ( sooner if anything adverse occurs, and bring him in two weeks. She put him on a very low dose which can be adjusted if positive results are seen. I am not to discontinue without checking with them. Spenser is spent! He really was upset in the waiting room, but is now home napping on my lap. Thanks so much for your concern. Gew |

The vet says we should see a change in about two weeks. He has had two doses and nothing negative yet. Really concerned. In my whole life, including 12 years in rescue, I never had to medicate for anxiety. His banging into the French doors for an hour convinced me he might really hurt himself or have a heart attack. Running in circles for hours had been enough. Thanks. Did anyone ever use Clomicalm with.his or her Yorkie? Gew |
Poor little Spencer, I hope Clomacalm works for him. |
Cbd oil works great, I use it for Chester, no side effects like some drugs which I tried for Chester |
Thanks for the suggestion. So far we have seen little change adding clomicalm to his regimen. However, there are no visible bad effects yet either. I will check out your suggestion if after two weeks and there is no change. Thanks. Gew |
