Congratulations on your finalization of Otto's adoption. |
3 Attachment(s) HI! I am attaching some pictures of Otto including one where you can spot his brother Tito (left on the stroller) and her step sister Tita (the blonde gal at front). Otto has been busy making new girl friends in our neighborhood and trying to annihilate any male dogs around. Thats a shame as some male dogs try to make friends with him but his alpha mode gets activated. I am convinced he believes he is a German Shephard. He is otherwise well mannered and a bundle of love and happiness! Still trying to balance his diet, he is quiet stubborn, usually he doesnt want to eat anything before noon, then he eats some kibble during the afternoon and either raw meat or cooked chicken at night with some vegetables mixed in. He has another thing going on, now I can't go into the bathroom alone, he needs to go in with me! Otherwise he will scratch the door and bark!!! Oh well there goes my last sanctuary in the house!!!! Hope you enjoy the new pics! |
Your pictures are always a delight and show such healthy, HAPPY little dogs. All of those kiddos are cute, for sure, but I really think Otto is the cutest of the bunch---what a beautiful boy he is...! |

You are wise and insightful and I applaud your determination to give Otto good food. These guys are so little, they can be impacted pretty quickly by the wrong---or the right chow. Looks to me like you're doing right by Otto and I'm sooo happy you guys found one another. Little Otto landed himself the perfect and most loving of homes! All the best! |
Again, fantastic photo's of Otto and the gang, that stroller photo shows how happy he is, his eyes are so bright, and that smile lol, love it. How can you say he goes into alpha mode, that pic of him sleeping show a docile sweet lil angel lol. And yes, owned by a yorkie your bathroom privilege "must" be shared, it's a yorkie thing lol. Yorkies are big dogs in small bodies with much attitude lol. I am so very happy that Otto has found the perfect home filled with love. |
And yes, owned by a yorkie your bathroom privilege "must" be shared, it's a yorkie thing lol Ohhh, that is for sure! Also, I think it's not uncommon for them to help you dry off after a shower...Piper just has to lick, lick, lick my left ankle---right ankle, not so much! |

Aint that the truth. I have a yorkie and a cat and they both follow me into the bathroom.......:p In fact I usually have like this little pet train that follows me wherever I go in the house. If I go upstairs they will follow me in a line sometimes with Duchess the yorkie first followed by Chloe the cat. It's hilarious sometimes I just walk around to watch them follow me.:p |

4 Attachment(s) Otto is getting into the X Mas mood! Well, the weather is improving, north winds starting to be felt and heard, sunny days are getting more frequent and day temps hover in the 60s and 70s. Thats the beginning of summer in Costa Rica! This also means less paws full of mud and less rainy walks, grass is dry and my Otto loves it! So to celebrate this, we gave him a summer cut, aka known as puppy cut in these latitudes. Now , Otto has been filling up with hair, looking chubbier and more Chewbacca like lol, hence his nickname of little Chewby. I liked his fluffy look but were willing to try the puppy cut. OMG he went back in age like 6 months LOL. He looks like a baby now! I like both cuts but I dont know, I was getting used to the fluffy look. Oh well, he still looks very nice, more sport I say , and like a little puppy ! Take a look at some before/during grooming/ and after pictures and let me know what you think. He loves to be groomed by the way, never moved an inch. He is also posing with my son in one of the pictures. |
I LOVE Otto's new hair style, he looks adorable. I keep my boy in a puppy cut 365, but his cut is much shorter then Otto's. I want my boy to be a dog, play, get muddy, roll in whatever, short cuts are easier to maintain and bath time is fast due to short hair. Beautiful photos, your son is a handsome young man, looks like he has been smitten by Otto also. Thanks for sharing your photos. |

3 Attachment(s) Hi all! Here a little update on how Otto is doing! Vet check: vet says Otto is doing great! Teeth are clean , he is healthy and things look fine! He was given some shots as we dont know exactly when the previous owner had them applied , looks it was one year ago so we are starting a new control card with his new vet. Only bad news is that Otto is overweight by half a pound! So we are adjusting his food ration and he doesnt seem to mind. Cool weather has settled and Christmas tree is up at the house! So far only a couple of casualties due to Otto, he sure likes those shiny red balls! I bought a pack of 900 biodegradable poop bags from Amazon and saved around 60% compared to local prices so that was good! Otto already has more X Mas presents lined up than we humans at the house. Dont tell him but I know my sister in law gift is a stroller so we can walk around the mall. If you see some of my previous pictures he used to ride with his siblings but they are bigger now and now it is a tight fit for the three of them! I leave some pics below, as you can see he has been busy having team building activities with his brother and step sis at the park! Fun fact: it has happened twice now that random people want to take theiir picture with Otto lol. |
