I remember when I read your original post. Hard to believe it was a year and half ago. Time does fly!! |
Beautiful hair cut, seems Lola the Diva rules the house lol. Your babies are just beautiful and you are giving them a wonderful fun filled life, just makes my heart smile. Thank you for sharing your photos, we all enjoy following Otto and Lola's life with a man whose heart was stolen by a yorkie  |
What a perfectly, precious pair-o-pooches! Love their cute cuts!! |
4 Attachment(s) Well, hi everyone! I have to revisit this page more often, looks like Facebook groups have taken our attention more that they should. But I like to come back to this forum and update this post from time to time and now I realize it has been 2 years since my last update!!!!! I am happy to report that both Otto (original post) and Lola are doing great! Both are as lovable and playful as day one and we have been enjoying their VERY different personalities. Lola loves to be at home, she demands a place on the bed and the higher up and the more soft the pillows the better, while Otto loves to take a nap on whatever part of the floor he finds. Otto continues to love playing soccer each afternoon, the downside of that is that he breaks a nail every no and then even if we try to keep them short. The problem is that he chases the ball at 100mph and then put on full breaks to get it and that when the problems start. See picture where he went for a nail repair. We try to play slower now. Other than that he is the same friendly baby as ever. Lola likes to play traditional fetch but she quickly demands to go back to the house after a while. Otto on the other hand could stay outside forever. I have been seeing more and more smaller yorkies around town, the so called "teacups" and from time to time people tell us our yorkies are not real yorkies but we dont care what peoplesay really. By the way , due to COVID it has been now almost 1.5 years the whole family has been working from home full time so Otto and Lola have become super attached to us. We worry for them when we go back to normal times although it looks for us wont be this year... |
Great pictures 😊 |
Thanks for the update and the photos. The babies are just adorable as always. Size matters not, a yorkie is a yorkie no matter how big or small they are. All my yorkies were big 9 pounds and over. Size has nothing to do with their personalities. Seems Lola the Diva has taken over lol. |
Your babies are beautiful. So nice "seeing" you again and so pleased all is well with you and yours...! And I totally agree: A Yorkie is a Yorkie is a Yorkie. And thank goodness for all of 'em!! |

At one time I had a pack of 3 girls, all 3 years apart, all now passed. I never watched TV, my girls were more entertaining than anything on TV. These lil rascals are very clever and smart. Lola is a tricky lil gal for sure, teasing Otto. I am so happy your yorkies have bought so much sunshine into you and your Mrs. lives. |
Love the pictures and thanks for the update. Looks like things could not be happier at your home. |
Piper makes me laugh out loud every single day. She is my joy and my light and my little gift from God! |
Dec 2022 Updates! 4 Attachment(s) Hi all!!!!! Glad to see the community is still active! Heres an update on our little fellas Otto and Lola and the new edition to the gang Coco the cat!!!!! If you see my first post not in a million years I would have thought of owning and loving these crazy little guys so much. We found Coco as a newborn abandoned in the middle of the road next to the airport. It was about to be run down by any car any second and we managed to grab him, feed him and now he is 7 months old and healthy and has become Otto and Lola new buddy! Otto and Lola are doing awesome thet are 7 and 5 now and they are as playful as ever. You can also see in one of the pictures my sisters in law new addition to the family, Chester! Sadly, Ottos brother, Tito (who lived at my sister in law house), passed away this year when he bit a toad snif. It was very sad to our family as my sister in law loved him too much. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season!!!! Manrique |
