I did not get an email response from the owner, but she might be working today so I will call the shop when they open at 8:30. I am so excited!! :D

It's Yorkie hunting season! I've got my eyes on a classified ad that appears in our paper for the first time tomorrow. $200, male, neutered, has shots, lively. That's all I know. I work for the paper and saw the ad before it went to press. Unfortunately, we're not allowed to make any calls before the public gets it. It's all I can do not to cheat and call them right now!

Let us know if you decide to get yours.

OH WOW ! That's exciting for you and I can't think of a better home for that little yorkie ! Go girl ! & your hubby rocks saying yes to this -

Dreama's owner just called me!!
 
She and I both have a hectic schedule this weekend, so we made arrangements to meet Dreama at her work at noon on Monday! She isn't working, but it's a central and neutral location to introduce Dreama to everyone.

Thanks, everyone, for your support! I will bring my camera and get pics! Wish us luck! I AM SO EXCITED!!

You are so right!!

However, my mind is preoccupied with the scuba diving open water certification class I am taking and will be at in 2 hours! That's why I can't go check her out today. It's a crazy weekend for me!

Gosh, I had my days mixed up. I was so thinking today is Sunday, UGH....Soooo sorry. :rolleyes: Saturday....today is Saturday. I will keep telling myself that. LOL :D

I'm so excited for you!!! I hope everything goes well and that you get to take Dreama into your home and that she gets along with Wosie! I bet you just have knots in your tummy thinking about it :) I know you'll let us know how it goes :)

So....how did your scuba diving certification class go this morning? I hope you passed.

I know you are so excited about seeing "Dreama". I heard that you are taking Wosie with you.

Let me say to please not be disappointed if Wosie does not take to Dreama right away. It took Muffie 12 DAYS before she stopped walking away from Missy and started to play with her.

So think positive. We're all excited for you.

Oh Glad, HOW EXCITING!!!! I can't wait to hear how it goes on Monday!!!!!!! I can totally understand hubby's reasoning.....I'd feel the same way if one of mine liked my husband better :D . Think of this.....what if Dreama chooses you too! Does that mean there may be 3 Yorkies in your future :p ? Definetly will be checking back on THIS post!!! I got home earlier than I expected from my scuba class (Pat, it's a two weekend course, I go tomorrow and then next Saturday and Sunday too. At least I passed the qualification swim/float to be able to even TAKE the class, :eek: lol), and I really really wanted to call Dreama's owner and see if we could make arrangements to see Dreama tonight! :rollingey but I thought I might be too pushy, lol! So I guess I just have to be patient and wait until Monday. But DARN!! It's pretty hard to wait!! :confused:

Now I know how everyone else feels who is waiting for their puppy to grow up so they can go get them from the breeder! :( Hey, at least I only have to wait 2 days and not 10-12 weeks!! :p ;)

Julz, I read your post to my hubby and he said NO WAY! Of course he says that NOW.... :D

Good Luck with your scuba classes! We just sold our dive shop! Been in the business for many years! I am looking forward to be able to dive a lot more now that I dont have to be in the shop! Hope Monday comes real fast! :)

Thanks, Judi! That's so cool that you had a dive shop in FL! I will be doing my certification dives at Ginny Springs in February.

I am still hoping to meet you when you come up! (that is you, right, coming to Robbie's next month?) Maybe I will have TWO pups to introduce to you! :D Thanks again for the good wishes! :p

Hey, if I were Dreama's mom I would be so happy to have such a caring person wanting my baby. I would welcome a call just to see if maybe Sunday would work better since it is a day off for most people..

Thanks so much for the kind words! Sunday is bad for me, I am learning how to scuba dive this weekend (and next weekend too!) So I guess I have to just leave it at Monday as she suggested. SIGH!! Thanks for the suggestion, though! :D

I am a firm believer in Fate, Karma, and Kismet! (Kismet would be a great dog name!) I think this was meant to be, otherwise why would I go by there just at that time? And I had Wosie with me? And the lady who was the food expert had a Yorkie to adopt out? Yup, it's pretty amazing.
