I will tell you this, though. I was only asking for individuals to pray for all of our HEROes. Our first responders are our true American HEROES not some guy that gets $50,000 (just an example figure) a night for throwing one football. A true HERO is the person that runs to trouble while everyone else is running away from that same trouble. A true HERO is the person that signs up for the military to protect this country against all that would do it and us harm. This is all that was being said in my request. Please pray for them. All of our American HEROes. |

This is likely a tough / unique thread all around. So, knowing this - let's all try to have some tolerance regarding everyone's feelings. Try not to feel attacked and try not to attack in any way -- bc nothing productive will come of either. Instead - if/when feeling triggered - take a few deep breaths, literally, and remember that most of us probably have WAY more IN common than we don't. Humans make mistakes, doctors make mistakes, police officers make mistakes, judges make mistakes, dog owners make TONS of mistakes.... ....but honestly, if you firmly think someone is to blame in this situation - please - all we ask is that everyone express those opinions calmly, respectfully, and with a still-open mind. Thanks all :)! Save |

I applaud people who defend themselves. Even if I don't know the situation between you 2. However, some food for thought. Just as you can post and say what you want, (as annoying as it may feel) another has the right to make a correction on what you say or write. And believe me, this place is a lot friendlier than sites that talk politics all the time. That's (cyber) WW3! |

Some other YT members were (and still are) upset because I chose to defend this officer. Here's another reason. This is the second attack in as many weeks that has ended in the a death of a woman. I will continue to support and defend this officer for his actions! Go here to read this post. vicious-christmas-eve-pit-bull-attack-leaves-kentucky-woman-dead-husband-injured.amp.html These dogs were bred to kill as sport and many breeders do not care about anything except their own pocketbook. |
