Unless we want a world run by our criminals, we should always be careful about alienating our law enforcement...

There was an update to the story. The Minneapolis police department is giving extra training to its officers on dealing with dogs, and is helping with the vet bills for the dogs that were shot. No blame has been assigned. There is an internal investigation, but the results have not been publicized (if indeed it has concluded yet). I'm not sure what your problem is with me but I have the right to comment on any post as long as I follow the rules and can post my opinion. Many people on here don't agree with each other and share are opinions. I'm not real sure what your talking about because I didn't correct you I posted my opinion like I will continue to do.

Not really clear on why you're so emotional...?

She merely posted her opinion, much like others. Maybe you're confusing her post w/ someone else's - I'm not really sure.

Oh but it is their fault. All the way from Pompeii the one simple sign that costs less than $5.00 is required. It is a simple statement "BEWARE OF DOG". My window has a sign "BEWARE OF CAT". This is NOT a joke. My one cat will nail you if you come thru the door without my being there or my permission if I am there. I did not train him to be a protection cat it just came to be after my house was broken into. The officer that came thought that he was going for him but it was the guy that was sneaking up on the officer that cat nailed. The only reason I could not be sued is because my cat saved a hero's life and the judge said as he threw the case out "with prejudice" that no person or animal will be required to pay for the attack on the perpetrator. This cat is a hero and should be respected by everyone. The only thing required is the owner of this fine cat is to place a warning sign in her window as required BY LAW. This cat is to receive a free meal at the next police officer honor dinner in September. Bring his owner and brother to help celebrate and wear your vest kittens." He received a badge to be on the sign in the window. I added the thin blue line to honor all our fallen officers. My cat is a tuxedo. Love my personal hero to hugs.

She is NOT a teenager she is an ADULT. Law says that too. FL allows 19 yr olds to become police officers. Can't have it both ways. 18 and above have to face the laws as ADULTS.

I didn't watch the video and don't plan to. One was because I hate seeing animals hurt..... the other reason.......well......The comments on this thread tell me it is probably best to just ....

Then WHY was it allowed to be posted here by the admin? What does what you have quoted have to do with what you are saying? I'mean stating a fact about true American HEROes and do not understand what you want to say here. Many of the posts are against this officer.

I appreciate the fact that you asked your Chief about it. Fact is there are some officers that do not like the same exact things you have trouble with but they are sworn to uphold the law of their city, parish/county, state, and country.

Around here and in the two counties I have lived in where my mom was on the animal board it was not law. I actually try to stay up on my local dog laws. Also with the high rate of dog thefts it could actually be an issue to draw attention to some dogs. Laws may conceder them adults but most aren't because they just aren't taught how to be anymore.

Because it teaches people stuff. That was his opinion and if someone else had the opinion of judging them that's their opinion. You have to remember that when humans are involved in anything there will always be some bad ones. There are some bad cops who do bad things. Maybe this cop is one maybe not but I'm sure the investigation will tell us.
