Thank you all. As luck would have it a few days later I met the husband out in the front yard with his puppy. We started chatting a bit, and of course I started interacting with the pup. Then maybe 5 minutes or so later - he says wow you are training him! I said yes baby steps - I can show you a few games = training things you can do with this adorable minx. BTW I was on the ground using a convenient small twig to play find the twig follow the twig swat the twig etc.

Then a few days later he mentioned about the noise that June wkend and apologized for it. He said I realize now we went a bit crazy and it wont be like that again! Wowee And I still help out with training that adorable puppy.

I find that this works well with my Bailey. He loves people (not so much other dogs) and we have a back wood fence which faces our complex's playground. When the kids make noise, I ask Bailey if he'd like to see and he runs to the gate. I've done this since he was a pup and he is now 5/5yo. I hold him up and he looks at the kids, wagging his tail all the while:) After a while of doing this I don't have to show him, ll I have to say is that 'the kids are playing'. This quenches his curiosity. It may be something to try for you.

WHEW!!!!! Huge relief if he meant it! So glad to hear it new neighbors' lifestyle isn't going to be a daily headache for you!

Isn't it just thee best when things just work out without even trying? And in a completely unplanned, natural way?! Sounds like your summer will simmer nicely...!
