I would be so worried that a bird or wild animal has already got her

She got her last night! She had to be tuckered out because she had been in a 5 mile radius so she made the round of the town!

Animal control and those volunteer groups who catch feral and stray dogs to find them homes are the ones to call when you need a frightened stray dog caught without the owner being present. You likely need someone who does this all the time like our Duck Team 6 in the Dallas area. Maybe you could Google to see if you have anything like them where you live.

Not in Fargo....they say you catch them and we'll come get them! I had a stray cat in my yard for 2 yrs and they said as soon as I could catch it they would get it...and they said they give them update shots and if its feral they just let it lose again. I said WHAT! you would bring it back to my neighborhood. They said yes what are we suppose to do with them. Hmm good thought they aren't put to sleep but I don't want a feral cat living under my porch!

What a relief that she finally got to go home!!!! So glad! Like the others, I was worried a larger animal would have gotten to her...

Thank goodness that baby is home. I do hope this teaches the owner to board her the nx time she goes away. Maybe the 3rd time this happens the owner will not be lucky and get her back. I'm am just happy this lil girl is safe and home. Thank you so much for the up-date

They need to get the baby in some training so she comes when called. That is the most important command.

So they pretty much get paid for doing nothing? How crazy. They normally do fix the cats notch their ear and let them go. Faral cats don't normally live that long and are generally the top rabies carrier.

Over the moon to read that that sweet little Yorkie is back home with her family! Just like the rest of us, I've fretted, worried and prayed this little one would live long enough to be caught - and she did!!! Such a wonderful ending. Thank you for filling us in with the great ending to a lost-Yorkie story.

Reminds me of Bengi, the YT member's Yorkie lost for 3 weeks at Disneyworld? Also a picture-book ending.

Missing Yorkie Bengi is Reunited With His Family


It's so good to know there are so many doglovers out there like you who helped all you could. Was so scared nobody would ever see her again and we'd never know if she was okay. Cats307, you've made my day!
