All moved in
Well I am all moved in. I am slowly getting over my seller's remorse about selling my home. My babies are so funny. While I was packing up the old house, my babies were following me around with a look of concern.
If they could speak they were probably thinking "what's up? you taking us with your right?" Their expressions were priceless.....as I was going from room to room cleaning up and packing up the last little bit of stuff, they stuck to me like white on rice.
I'm happy to say they are with me and are adjusting to the new home although we did have a little scare. The handyman left the sliding patio door slightly open and Duchess got out (getting a fence is next on my list). Fortunately she had not gotten to far before I noticed the patio door was open. She was only about 20 ft (phew). I thought Miss Chloe the cat had gotten out too but she has already found a hiding spot in the house. I am walking around the neighborhood looking for her and she was safe in her little hiding spot........Next on the list......a 6ft privacy fence as my neighbhor has a dog. Already Duchess and this dog are having staring and barking contest.....thankfully the dog is fenced in........
As of June 1st 2017 I will be mortgage free at only 53!!!! Woohoo......If it wasn't for the fact that I will not have a mortgage, I would still be living in my old house which I loved so much......Oh well.......onto new adventures.......which island should I go to first with all of the extra money I will have? |
