It's sad, but sometime you have to make a deal with the devil to save a life. In China rescue people often buy dogs from bad people to save them from winding up a meal.
And sorry, I shouldn't have implied all sales people. | All dogs need homes and if a philosophy begins to actually have negative effects and create more misery then one has to reassess. If you can provide a great home for a dog, isn't it better to spare the dog a bad experience altogether instead of waiting for the dog to go through mess and end up in a rescue for you to decide to take the in?
You probably saved a few dozen lives by taking in this dog, yes she may have come from an irresponsible breeder but you solved a problem. Thats a good thing. |
