Need immediate help- It's not chewie. My sister is in the military, so is her husband right now as we speak, so she's there until 7am. Her dog, Ozzie, an Australian cattle dog. A few hours ago he stopped doing anything, and he's in the corner shaking. won't eat and won't drink. He's 13 in three weeks. Sister is taking him to the vet asap in the morning. Does this always mean it's too late, or can this be any number of aging issues? She's pregnant, too, and had a scare so I hope I get some answers. |
My 17 yo girl stopped eating and drinking, no shaking tho, the out come was not good. Hopefully your sister's dog can be treated, it could be anything, keeping your family and the pup in my thoughts for a positive report today. |

That sounds like the dog is in pain. In those situations really you should take them to the vet asap. |

Hope she gets better. |
Pregnant or not, her dog sounds like it is in acute distress and a vet consult is in order ASAP. |
