Questions about talking Chewie was so darn quiet for a long time. I taught her to growl, bark, speak, etc. Barking was a big mistake, lol. Carlie, her little best friend, handled the rest. *grumbledarnshnuazersgrumble* She still does what you guys called the puppy howl, which we encourage and praise. Every morning , if I'm out and come back, or when Daughter and hubby get home we get the "woo-whooo!" sound My favorite is when she's playing tug of war or fetching. I'll kiss her cheek and she just kinda grabs tighter to the (usually her bacon strip toy) daughter kisses she'll do the little growl... but the fetching hehe. She sounds like a muscle car revving rrrrrr..rrrrrrr! her awesome tail curled to the side or wagging like mad. Cracks me up. I just wanted to hear other favorite mannerisms. She has so many other sweet little thing she does, but interested most in talking. |
Don't you love these odd little creatures with their odd little ways! I just love when they try to communicate with us First thing I noticed when I got Tibbe was just as he was falling asleep beside me, he growls. He still does that several times a week at bedtime, though rarely if he's going to sleep apart from me - when in his crate or lying away from me. But if we're snuggled up, out come the quiet little series of growls as he drifts off. Never had another single dog in this house who does that. Tibbe makes a sort of gobbling sound in his throat when he approaches me or is about to get some loving! I first noticed it when he came in from pottying and he would make that sound. Next he did it when approaching me knowing I would about to pet, rub or hug him. Never known another dog to do that either. Each one of these amazing little creatures is wholly unique. |
Talking!!!! OMG,Cody is non stop.He is the gabbiest yorkie I have ever had. He has one whine for needs to potty, another when he wants to go to the yard, another for Hey it's time for me to eat, another for it's treat time lol. The best is when he wants me to go to bed lol. Every night we have conversations, he tilts his head from side to side trying to understand what it is I'm saying cutest thing ever, I love this lil guy. |
Both Jilly and Matese- I can picture it already. SO CUTE!!!! They really ARE- each unique, I mean! |
This is yorkie # 5, and yes, they all had the yorkie trait, hunting, mischievous, liked to tease and taunt me,had selective hearing lol. But personality wise, ALL were so different. Such a unique breed that's why I LOVE the breed so much. Just like a box of chocolate, ya never know what your gonna get lol. |
Yes, my lil Madison talks to me all the time. A very "chattie" girl :) She will sit in front of me, her little head tilted, and start "burbling", a soft trilling that seems to go up and down like she is talking to me. When we answer her, she will just continue the conversation. She is so precious. I would LOVE to know what stories she is telling..... |
