Looking for two female Yorkie's in Florida Hello all, My husband and I have just lost our baby girl "Peanut. Her sister left us 14 months ago. They were litter mates when we got them 15 years ago. They have been or constant love and Joy. We are currently out of the loop of Yorkie breeders. Help finding our new family would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Debbie and Richard :aimeeyork:aimeeyork |
Hi Debbie - First, I am so sorry for the loss of your two sweet girls. It is so difficult I don't live in Florida but would like to offer you a suggestion that helped me find my new little girl after losing the my little man (that was the love of my life for 15 years) I didn't know where to start either but have a Giant Schnauzer that I bought as a show puppy 14 years ago and needed to finish her. Yes, I still have her and yes, she is a champion:) and yes, my yorkie really belongs to her! lol! Anyway, I decided to visit the local dog show to introduce myself to the local breeders in town. I actually ended up with one of the girls that was competing that day (she was 18 months old) long story but such a blessing! Anyway, I think it is a good place to meet responsible breeders that generally breed for quality, temperament and health. My experience only - but I do strongly believe it is a much better option then a website or god forbid a pet shop which most certainly acquires their precious ones from hideous puppy mills! Oh also, you can look on the AKC website and find breeders in your state. I think some of them have to met a set of standards. I really hope that helps. Best of luck! |
So sorry about the loss of little Peanut and her litter mate but so glad to hear you are ready to love more Yorkies. Can only imagine how painful each one's loss was. You had them a good long time but had to endure losing them so closely together. I know that make the pain of loss especially hard. Wishing great success on your search for two more babies. |
So sorry for the loss of your precious Peanut and her litter mate. |
