Music for our fur baby Hiya Our corkie is 12 months old Adopted other week He has a crate and is trained he sleeps there at night in large utility room In day if we go out he goes in large utility room with his crate and toys and seems ok but obviously has full use of utility room I'm going back to work soon and so he will be spending a little more time alone Heard that music being played can relax Them. I know they did this at the sanctuary where we adopted him from |
I always leave either the TV or Radio on when I leave. |
I've done music/tv before but since I noticed it made no difference either way with Emma, to save energy I leave it off. |
I always leave tv on (very low volume) to muffle outside sounds, to keep Piper company, and (hopefully) to deter bad guys. But mainly to keep Pipe company! |
I think music is a great idea and especially the music that can calm it down. If you find some that works it's definitely worth it. |
I would classical music, hands down - it's very therapeutic for any brain (human or animal). KBACH is amazing - you can listen online. |
Love it--am just now listening to Beethoven's 7th (played during the king's speech, from the movie); and once I hear it, I'm somewhat compelled to play it over and over...! Piper, however, gets a bit bored and much prefers the sound of her own voice gar-ruffing and barking as that gets a reaction!. By the way, I never know the name of music nor composers, but this was easy to look-up on line! |
