just a quick question What is the difference between a Silky and a Yorkie? |
This must have been a stupid Question!! No one replied...oh well |
I don't think it is a stupid question... I have a hard time telling the difference so I am not much help sorry.... |
Silkies and yorkies are two different breeds. From what I understand, yorkies were bred down from silkies but AKC has classified them as two different breeds. Here's the links to AKC... Silky http://www.akc.org/breeds/silky_terrier/index.cfm Yorkie http://www.akc.org/breeds/yorkshire_terrier/index.cfm And no, there aren't any stupid questions... :D |
Actually the silkie is a cross between the yorkie and the australian terrier. |
