Earing Gluing Hello All My little ones ear tip is bending backwards and I want to fix it. I bought Fabric Fusion which the sales person states that is about the same as tender mender. How do you put glue on their ears? Can I put a little of the glue on the inside tip and squeeze together? |
Sorry I know nothing about gluing, hopefully others will offer up their experience. I suggest shaving the hair off the ears if you have not also ready done so. Hair although thin is still weight on the ears, and that's what you don't want. |
That doesn't sound very comfortable for the pup. |
I'm not sure about this method, to be honest - but please do keep in mind that the ear is an *extremely* vascular area - so any chemicals will be absorbed VERY easily thru the ear. |

Hope that helps! :) |
One of my yorkies had his ears glued when I picked him up. I hadn't heard of this before either but I guess some breeders do it. It made me uncomfortable though so the next day when I brought him to the vet, I made her get it off. It didn't seem to bother him when they were glued but watching her get it off was scary. I agree that shaving the tips of the ears helps a lot. My other yorkie's ears sometimes flop when he's due for a hair cut. When he gets groomed they go back up. |
