Help! Please Addie is 23 weeks old and had gotten the hang of house training. Even let us know she wants to go out. The last few days she has been very reluctant to go outside because it's gone cold. She just sits down outside, looking at us to go in :(. Well today we stood outside for 20 mins, came in and she peed straight away inside  :( Tried putting her coat on but she still just shivers. What can we do? Its going to get so much colder soon |
Make it actively fun. Engage her in a fast walk or fast ball chasing. She will warm up and keep that coat on her. You can also look at doggy boots. Allldogboots a member here mAkes a good boot. I also like an all weather coat as Toronto weather can be miserable cold n Rainey and also chased with snow n freezing rain If there is a temporary shelter you can erect do so. Make it very close to your back door. Kitchen pop up shelters work great. Even a shed with a space inside for her pee or poo. Just some ideas for you. Hang in there |
