Naming my new Yorkie 2 Attachment(s) I thought I would name our 20 mo. old, new addition "Teddy"as I felt it fit his face/eyes when I saw the pic of him in full coat, but now that he is cut very short, I am not sure the name "fits" his look. (I will be letting his hair grow out.) The name the breeder had given him was Sammy, which I just felt doesn't fit him. What do you all think? Any other name suggestions??? |
Calvin from Calvin and Hobbs rings a bell to me. |

He looks so regal, it has to be something royal.....he reminds of a wise old owl.:p |

When I saw the 2nd photo, the name "Alexander" came up to my mind. |
Good looking little guy! |
The hubby likes. Sir Bedevere the wise I vote. Toby |
Cedric? Or C D for Cute Dog--which he most assuredly is...! |
With the short hair he does have that regal look, also kinda snobish look cos he knows "he's all that and a bag of chips" lol but, keep in mind soon his hair will be long. My last puppy (now passed) went without a name for 3 months until I found the "perfect" name for her. Take your time, get to know his personality, a name will come to you, or just go with Teddy if your heart is set on that. He is deff. NOT a Sammy lol |

Thank you everyone for your great suggestions. I am enjoying this so much. I really love your feedback. |
I am stuck on "Calvin" bc I think it's an AWESOME name - so cute! He is beautiful - his coat looks so thick and wonderful! Also see: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/mis...ames-male.html |
