Buddy Belt Harness I ordered one several weeks ago from wfieldsforpets.com and absolutely LOVE it. When I ordered it, I checked her girth size and found that she was a perfect 11". So I ordered the 2.5 which gives room for shirts, sweaters. Got a call right away to make sure I was ordering the size that I needed. Can't ask for better customer service before the ordered is even filled. I had been using the Puppia and and I liked it but it was getting to be more of a struggle to get it OFF but the BB is the answer. Bought the leather one and thought it was a little stiff but is softening up just like leather seems to do. Will probably get another one in a different color (got white to go with her summer clothes). Couldn't be happier and Gidget doesn't start squirming when it's time to put it on. |
I love my buddy belt. I got one of the older BB series (which were made with real leather) and lucked out and found the discontinued limited color "Fairy Dust". Would've loved to get it with the rhinestones and sooo wished they brought this color back. The new BB2 are synthetic leather, which makes them more affordable and I hear the quality is still good. I was almost tempted to buy their liners for this harness, but the one I got soften up a good bit, so no need. Best harness investment I've made :D |

Wasted lots of money on other harnesses. Never again. I'm completely sold on BBs. |
I wish the buddy belts weren't so pricey (for me) and the synthetic ones that I looked at are not much cheaper. I would dearly love to get one for Piper and from all I've heard, it's time to start saving so she can be safely, comfortable for cruisin'! |

You're right and I'm sure I won't be--the buddy belts get such glowing reviews! |
We love our "Buddy Belts" and Kristen from wfieldsforpets.com dog boutique is awesome, superior customer service. So comfortable for the babies and easily pull them up without harm if needed. |

I love the BB and I also wasted a lot of money on other brands before getting the BB from Kristen. Bubba and Sissys are several years old now and holding up great. Go for it. If you are not sure of the size Kristen will help you with the correct size, just message her. |

Once we got it and used it, I fully understood. The leather Buddy Belt is a worthwhile investment. My boys' primary BBs, their daily use ones, are about 5 - 6 years old and they still look beautiful after lots of mileage. The boys are so comfortable in them. For me, the security is the most important quality. Second is the ease of use. We can whip them on and off fast. My dad, who helps take care of the doggies, is 77 and really likes that quality. You should have seen us trying to work an adjustable strappy harness from the pet store when we first had puppy Max. Poor little guy thought his humans were hopeless. :D We gave up and bought a vest type before we learned about the Buddy Belt, lol. |

Yes, Kristin is the best! |
I highly recommend the Buddy Belts from Kristin. The first one I ordered from a company online was too big. I had called the shop and gave them my dogs measurements. They told me to order size 6 and when I called them to tell them it didn't fit, they told me I had to pay a restocking fee. I didn't think that was fair since they told me the wrong size. I since found out about Kristen and I wouldn't order from anyone else. Her customer service is the best and she knows what size to recommend. My pups have never been able to wiggle out of the Buddy Belt and once my dog jumped over a wall and fell into a lake. It was pitch black and we couldn't even see her in the water, we just heard the splash. We were able to pull her out and save her life because she was wearing a Buddy Belt. They are more than worth the little extra for a great leather harness that you can trust. |

Auburn Leathercrafters and Mirage make small leather collars with buckles. They do not sell direct to the public, so you would have google search for retailers. If you email Auburn, they will help you find retailers. Here is their contact page: Retailers - Auburn Leathercrafters As Brittany wrote in your other thread, Paco is a very popular designer of leather collars. Many of them are very pricey, but they also have some reasonably priced ones. |

We love our buddy belts. . . .we have quite a few of them. . . . Kristin is the best helping with sizing and she always goes beyond for her customers . . .we love her ! |
We have a question . . You know we have size 2 . . Pandora is measuring about 9-9.5" . . . The size 2 seems a little big but I wasn't sure if the size 1 was going to be too small ? Quote:

Pandora's chest measurement would be in the size 1 range. |
We love ours! Ruby is in a 2.5 and weighs 6.8 lbs. I especially love how the d ring will slide to the left or right depending on which side the dog is walking on. And of course that it hits right on her chest bone. LOVE! |
I just got done ordering my first one. I waited as long as I could stand it since she is only 5 months. I, too, am using a puppia currently, and the getting it off part is getting to be an issue, especially with her topknot. Can't wait to get it! I ordered crystal embellishment tooooo!!!! I hope I ordered the right size! |
These are beautiful, and look so well made. I'd love to see pics of all the dogs above wearing them. Do they start off pretty soft, or do they need to be broken in a bit? I thought the liners are probably mostly to save hair? I keep losing my post so I will leave this short and sweet! |
