My little guy always looks so scraggely.... I bath him once a week and brush him everyday. He still looks like he just rolled out of bed. His hair on his head is completely fly away hair. Any suggestions? He never mats. Just stringy head hair. I have a picture but I don't know how to post it here. It's somewhere on this site! Thanks Lisa |
Louie's hair gets like that too, and its very thick, I switched shampoos to an oatmean tea tree oil one that has helped some, but I still have to bath him every 7-8 days or so because he gets real messy looking. sorry I wasnt too much help. |
Cali is the same way. I only bathe her every 2 weeks and she is scraggy way before that. |
Mine are like that too....well, the pups are. Tiah can hold her own and look good a lot longer than the 7.5 and 5.5 month olds. That is why I take pictures on bath days :D . Other than that, they tend to look like punk rockers trying to go for a grunge look! |
awww I like the punk rock look :) Simon is like that too, even though I keep his hair short, he tends to look like he just rolled out of bed all day long :) Hallie is so fluffy she always looks like a cotton ball! |
Maybe you could trim him up a bit.... I know what you mean though... this morning I bathed my Jasmine and Butch... they have the straight, straight hair... and they still don't look quite "put together".... I am thinking of trimming their faces. Does he like hats??? :D :D :D |
except for the first 20 minutes after a bath Tucker always looks like that. I think some are just prone to it. We love his scuzzy little face anyway! |

how old is he? It could be the "puppy hair" |
1 Attachment(s) Ah, I love the shaggy/ dissheveled look! Bailey always has it too, I like it better than when he gets home from the groomers.. here's a perfect example. |
I remember those days TOOOOO well!*! That's why we went to the modified schnauzer cut. It's "do-able" and not much worry or fuss. |
