Nature's Logic Dog Food Specifically: Nature's Logic Canine Venison Meal Feast Dry Dog Food We bought a bag and are giving it a try. We have 4 pups so went ahead and got the larger bag, 26.4 lbs, $81, so about $3 a pound. The kibbles are nice and small, our dogs seem to like it so far. There were no issues transitioning from Fromms Game Bird dog food which was a nice small kibble also. We keep dry kibble down for them all of the time and Robyn moistens and "doctors" some kibble up with ground turkey and some form of vegetable for each evening meal. I think she does that more out of a sense of Motherhood or something because I'm positive it's not needed. CANINE DRY KIBBLE - VENISON - Nature's Logic |

I know there is some hate for the "dentist", but here's his review of Nature's Logic Dry Dog Food: https://www.dogfoodadvisor.com/dog-f...-dog-food-dry/ That reviews the rabbit recipe, so I read that then go back to the recipe I'm using and try to make heads or tails out of that ingredient list and guaranteed analysis. I just don't know of anyone else who has simplified the process to help us understand how to interpret the numbers in a simple fashion. |
I feed raw, but this is the exact kibble I use if traveling and/or need a dry food. It's wonderful!!! Just love the venison flavor for my kiddos. Love the company too. :) |
This good information, but I don't have any experience using this to my kids. I used to feed them natural life dog food here is the link Best 4-Star Wet Puppy Foods. |

Full disclosure: I had parked that selection in my chewy autoship along with a wonderful Fromms kibble, I forgot about it until it all showed up on my front porch months later... They offered to take it back, pay for the shipping even... I declined their offer... ;) We ran through the Fromms first, now it's Nature's Logic's turn. :D |

We're pretty much past the puppy stage, 4 dogs here so we use the all life stage rated feeds and all 4 pretty much eat the same.... Our oldest gets the kibble softened and mixed with ground turkey and a veg.... He's got mama trained, snorts when he wants dinner or if it's not to his satisfaction. LOL ;) He's our one true yorkie. |
I got samples of this food today and Jackson just loved them. I wouldn't feed a few of the formulas as they had insanely high ash percentages. Venison and beef were formulas that had a lot... beef: 20.7%, venison 17.1%. That's really high. Most foods are in the 5-9% range for ash content. "Ash is the true filler in a dog food. Dogs have a requirement of about 2% ash (the non burnable/combustible minerals left over after food is burned) as in that 2% will be the calcium/phos/trace minerals they need. Above that is the useless part of a dog food as a rule." So anywho I got samples of the rabbit, turkey, chicken and duck/salmon formulas. Ash being: chicken 8.46%, duck & salmon 11%, lamb 11.2%, rabbit 9.74%, sardine 11.4%, turkey 9.49% Jackson devoured the rabbit formula. Loved it. He enjoyed chicken too. Didn't much like duck/salmon or turkey. To be honest, I'm not really looking for a new food for him. Moreso Lola, our 2yr old cockapoo. Acana makes her poop a lot so I wanted to see if I can find something that agrees with her more. But whatever she eats, he ends up eating it too at least some of the time, so I like to have something that agrees with both of them. NL had fantastic customer service though. |
