Wont fall asleep on my bed? Hey guys so i need some help. My morkie is almost 5 months old and we got him end of august. So at night time he falls asleep downstairs on the couch and than when i go to bed around a half hour later i bring him upstairs with me to sleep with me on my bed (usually he falls asleep fine on my bed no problem) but past week or so when i bring him upstairs he just stands at the edge of my bed barking for hours! its like he doesnt like to sleep on my bed anymore. and than after an hour of barking i bring him downstairs and he falls asleep right away on the couch.... what is happening and why doesnt he like to sleep on my bed out of no where? |
These little guys have a way to keep us guessing what they are thinking. :D Do you have a window or something else possibly distracting him in your bedroom? I have a window problem in my bedroom. Teddy wants to know what it is going on out on the street at all times. He sleeps better in rooms in the back of the house. Have you changed anything in your bedroom? Sometimes a new lamp or piece of furniture is all it takes. |
Maybe he's just asserting his independence and if permitted to make his own decision, will eventually end up back in bed with you...May just be a transitional thing, growing up thing. |
