Loose Teeth I just noticed that two of my yorkies little bottom teeth are loose. Has anyone else had this happen with their yorkie before? |
How old are your babies???? |
Loose teeth Teddy is 5 |
Probably best to have the vet look sometimes infections can cause that. |
Buddybear went in to vet for dental check up and he had several teeth infected with no out ward signs. I thought he only needed 1-2 teeth pulled but they had to pull 6. |
Hi, Not uncommon at all in this little rascals. His incisors (front teeth and bottom teeth only) will be the first teeth to become lose. Get a check up with your vet and don't worry too much☺ |
I would really get to a vet asap as this could be an infection - and tooth infections are not only VERY painful, but can also be quite dangerous if left untreated. |
Yorkies are notorious for bad teeth. Sounds like he needs a dental. Get to the vet ASAP - like Wylie's mom said, tooth infections are painful (just like they are for humans) and can do serious harm. Good luck! |
My little Ziva (7) has the tiniest little white teeth, one day we looked in there and she no longer had two of her bottom four front teeth! But with just brushing her teeth are beautiful, I think these two were just too small? Abby(5) is a different story- her teeth are what the vet calls" genetically bad", we are dealing with loosened inflamed top teeth now, she is sure to lose them surgically.:(. Her little bottom teeth are just disintegrating. Same food, same water, same brushing! |
