My scarey cat Izzy loves the security of her hooded cat bed....as long as her favorite smooth blankly is in there to snuggle hide in.... Now Zoey likes to sleep with me in my bed , preferrably in one of the corners against the wall in a pile of blankets to semi bury herself... During the day they both like their minky raised sides that has a swoop in the front....they love to wiggle in the soft crevices of the edges and snuggle snooze... |
The cloud 9 always wins! |
1 Attachment(s) Piper sleeps under-the-covers in bed with me or, if outside covers, she sleeps against my back. Several times before 'settling' down, Piper must get 'her spot' just right which requires digging, digging--turning--digging, digging, digging--turning--digging...She's got me smiling in the dark, my Piper does. For daytime napping, Piper has two bed pillows on the couch, one in flannel the other more satiny--depending on temperature, etc. |
Queen, Memory foam. Smack in the middle. |
Loki prefers to sleep on my pillow, usually with his little face right next to my cheek! He also has a basket of wool by the tv, but he likes to equally distribute the wool all over the floor... |
Chewie has two beds one at home and one at the office with me. We bought them both with a raised edge around the sides as he loves to prop his head up on the side and use it as a pillow! |

Max's favorite is the Cloud Nine from Yorkie Haven Rescue. Teddy's favorite is my comforter piled up on the couch like Mt. Everest. Neither one likes to burrow. They prefer openness. Save |
During the day they nap on a throw on the couch. At night they sleep on a nice queen sized pillow top. Occasionally you can catch one on one of the numerous beds laying around the house. |
Heidi, my 5 year old female sleeps with me at night and on the back of sofa during the day. I have left her on sofa at night but she always "knows" when I go to bed and is in the bed within minutes. |
My bed! Haha. In the day time my tiny 3 pounder loves large dog beds... And my big 7 pounder likes small enclosed beds lol |

Mine are pretty easy-going and content with anything soft. I have a round cushion bed where the edges are not as high, but they can stretch our their legs to reach the diameter of the bed. I also have an oval cushion bed with higher edges, where they like to rest their head on. They love both! |
Wouldn't it be nice if we humans, like our Yorkies, had a variety of beds to choose from one day to the next?! One bed for watching late night tv, another designed for reading, one for nighttime phone calls and so on! 'Course I'd have to find somebody willing to change the linen on all them beds! |
For everyone that lets them sleep with you... Aren't you afraid of them falling out of bed getting hurt? Or once they are full grown it isn't as bad? My 10 lb shiz tzu can't jump in our bed so we go buy a new king size bed low to the ground (ikea, love it) so we can get all 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 people in the bed. I thought Max could fall out as a puppy and get hurt. He seems content in his play yard next to our bed but once the girls accept him and he's potty trained I guess he'll get the coveted spot between our pillows. He has to have a Minky bed since that's what I sew all day but maybe I'll make him a few and he can settle on his fav and donate the others to his nasty step sisters! 😄 |

Buddybear jumps off the bed by himself but only once has he been able to get up by himself. Minky is fabulous!!!!!! What a dream bed that would be. You will have to start calling him " His Royal Highness". The step sisters are jealous of all the attention the little brother is getting???? With so much minky lying around you could make a couple of girly type beds with ruffles and canapes.:p Please post pictures when you get them all made.......ohhhhh and matching dresses. |
Cats307 I totally agree about you posting pictures of minky beds; they certainly sound luxurious! |
