I received my calendars and am happy to once again have Huey included-this makes his 4th calendar. What month do you start accepting submissions? The last 2 years , I would not have made it if I hadn't received a pm reminding me. I think we could increase the number of submissions if somehow those members who are no longer very active on the YT forum could receive a reminder on the YT fb page? Or is that not possible since it is for contributing members only?

Looking at the posted pics the generic backgrounds are dominate compared to the yorkie portraits. So I suggest do something next year to change that...maybe a full sized but "faded out" pic of cute pups - instead of a giant cup of coffee? lol. ;)

There was a posting or perhaps a thread that for the 2017 calendar they omitted having to be a donating member any member could submit their photos. I guess a lot of members never saw that. I don't know if they will carry that for the 2018 calendar. Just throwing this out there for next year, anyone wanting to participate should ask.

I did send a note out to the general membership regarding the calendar.
I do think that had it would have been good if that notice had gone out earlier than it did. Personally I think it is a nice idea to encourage all members to donate, but to include all members in the calendar. Whether that would bring too many pictures would remain to be seen, but that would be a rather pleasant problem!

Got a number of calendar purchase requests from the general membership - in fact just went to the printer today to ordered a few more calendars for those who have just ordered.

My babies made it again! I think this is our 3rd or 4th YT Calendar they have been in. I am shocked that there is a huge difference between picture submissions from say 3-4 yrs ago to now. I do not come around here as much as I used to but I am always excited for the calendar!

At this moment I am completely out of calendars but yesrpterday ask them to print 10 more for us. I will mail them when they call and tell me they are ready - probably in the next week.

I am very happy to see that you are getting additional calendar requests. I too wonder why getting photos from members was so sluggish. I made a New Year's resolution to do photo sessions with Deuce specifically for the calendar this year. I already have Christmas and a New Year's shot for next year's calendar. Made a special file for them on the computer too! I wonder if there is a way we can continuously post photo's somewhere to be used for the calendar. My daughter works in an elementary school and they use some kind of app to store photos for the end of the year yearbook. I could get some information about it if you would like. I don't know if everyone can post to it or if it requires a central site. I'm not a techie but certainly there are folks who are on here who may come up with some ideas on how to make photo submission and accumulation an easier task. I don't know If this is the right place for this discussion but just thought I'd put it out there. I am willing to help you. Just pm me.

Would love to have that information. I saved your post to show to the graphic design person to see what she thinks. Usually I start asking for pics early in the year but folk have trouble getting around to it that early - so pics start coming in more like Oct or Nov.

It's no secret that I was disappointed that Lola was accidently overlooked and also with the layout but I do appreciate that Jay undertook this task. In thinking about it, this is a large undertaking for one member to take on so I am going to put my money where my mouth is and volunteer to help with next year's calendar. I work at home and have lots of time on my hands so I can follow up with people that say they want to participate and double check and proof things and whatever else might be needed.
